Excited to announce that Agents Base has been acquired and is shutting down only 9 months after launch! 🎉

Our tech has been purchased by another AI video startup in the space, and they plan to launch a new version soon.

What we learned: None of our customers were making sales with AI video models. Instead, we used AI to scale up existing viral UGC across a network of hundreds of phones.

Unpolished, low quality UGC performed better than highly produced, polished, AI video clips. The market is now saturated with low quality e-commerce AI videos, so people are learning to avoid them.

The market is tending towards trusting real influencers over branded accounts and ads. I recommend manually testing real UGC before scaling up with automation, since it becomes harder to find messaging that resonates with customers the further you get from them.

We cracked guaranteed virality, so feel free to reach out if you need help scaling using tricks you won’t find anywhere else.
